Fave Authors

I have a lot of favorite authors, and they change over time, but here is a list of a few of my favorite...

Sarah Dessen because her books inspire me, help me to understand things about being a teenage girl and because any character that she creates, leaps off the page and pulls me into the story.

Wendy Mass because she surprises me with her brilliant vivid writing on every page and because no one else but her could have thought such amazing plots and ideas for each and everyone of her books.

Louis Sachar because when I pick up one of his books, even before reading it, I know that I am picking up a masterpiece.

Michelle Cooper because her book, A Brief History of Montmaray changed me in a way that I will never forget.

Sita Bramachari because when I finished reading her book Jasmine Skies the only thing that I managed to say was 'Holy crap... that book was good. That was... whoa... oh my god.' and then I picked up my diary and wrote about how much I loved that book for about an hour and a half. And i still haven't blogged on Jasmine Skies because, in a way, if it is possible, I am still speechless.

And of course... The author who started it all for me...

Ally Carter because I know that when I pick up a Gallagher Girl book, I am picking up a book full of adventure, romance, discovery, friendship and mystery. It's a book that has it all. The Gallagher Girls will always a part of me.
